Alan T. Popp, MS

Alan’s deep understanding of home care and, in particular, the difficulties faced by family caregivers, comes in part from sharing caregiver duties with his wife in the early stages of her mother’s struggles with Alzheimer’s. He is also a certified assisted living administrator.
Alan is a native of Pittsburgh and a New Englander for more than thirty years. He and his wife live in Suffield, Connecticut with their two rescue cats and their horse, a Thoroughbred rescue. When Alan is not doing barn chores, you can usually find him gardening, landscaping or splitting wood. On rainy days he likes to read biographies.
A lifelong volunteer, Alan’s community involvement includes Foodshare communications committee, South Windsor Chamber Business Expo Committee Chair, Springfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, United Way of Pioneer Valley Campaign Cabinet and Salvation Army.
