Kathy joined Colony Care in 2019 bringing with her a long, commendable history in homecare, where she has now worked for more than 30 years. She has always had a passion for helping seniors, and her dedication to “matching the right clients with the right caregivers” has made her an invaluable member of the Colony Care team. Clients and Caregivers alike often call just to hear her friendly voice.
Kathy is very close with her family, and especially enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoys going to the beach and loves the ocean.
Mary Beth joined Colony Care in 2021 and has been an eldercare professional for more than 35 years, working to ensure older adults have the resources they need to make informed decisions that lead to their best outcomes possible. She is a champion of an adult’s right to make their own choices, with no regard to age. Prior to joining the Colony Care team, Mary Beth served as a member of the Mason Wright Foundation board, and has actively supported the goals of the Foundation for over 30 years.
Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and three children as well as her large extended family. When she has the time, there is nothing she likes more than reading a good book. She has a Bachelor’s in Social and Rehabilitation Services from Assumption College, with a Minor in English and a Certificate in Gerontology.
Kathy has been involved with home care for close to 40 years, working as a home health/hospice case manager until coming to work for Colony Care in 2017. She and her husband are originally from Massachusetts but have lived all over the United States and the world as he was a military officer. Kathy has two children. When not spending time with family, she volunteers with TAPS, a national organization for families who have suffered a military loss.

No matter what your needs, we know they are best met by a caregiver that is carefully screened, trained and supervised.
We require so much of caregivers as part of our screening, that some of them say things like “I’ve been in this business all of my life and you people ask for more stuff than anyone I’ve ever worked for.” We love to hear comments like that!
Our caregivers go through what just may be the most extensive training in the business, no matter how much experience they have. In addition to orientation (even that isn’t done at many home care agencies) we train our caregivers to our standards.
